Before pharmacies, there were gardens. Before medicine cabinets, there were cupboards lined with jars of dried herbs, oils and remedies passed down through generations.

Join us for an evening exploring the fascinating world of traditional herbalism as we build the foundations of a simple, practical witch’s first aid kit. We’ll learn about some of Britain’s most useful medicinal plants, their folklore, their traditional uses and how to prepare them safely for everyday life.

Throughout the workshop you’ll create three herbal remedies to take home, each inspired by recipes that have stood the test of time.

You’ll make:

• A herbal antiseptic wash and poultice blend using cleansing and skin soothing herbs for minor cuts, scrapes and insect bites.
• A nourishing herbal healing salve made with infused botanicals to comfort dry, cracked or irritated skin.
• A natural herbal headache remedy using carefully selected herbs traditionally used to ease tension and encourage relaxation.

Along the way we’ll explore herbal preparations, harvesting, drying and storing herbs, and how to begin creating your own home apothecary.

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners or anyone curious about reconnecting with the healing plants growing around us. Expect an evening filled with herbal wisdom, old folklore, practical skills and just a touch of everyday magic.
