Painting by Candlelight

As the evenings grow darker and autumn begins to settle in, there’s something magical about slowing down, lighting a few candles and spending a couple of hours creating just for yourself.

For one evening only, the studio will be transformed into a cosy, candlelit creative space filled with flickering light, gentle music and a beautiful collection of autumn treasures waiting to be painted.

Rather than following a step by step tutorial, you’ll have the freedom to create your own artwork from a carefully arranged selection of seasonal still life displays. Think pumpkins, gourds, colourful leaves, twisting branches, pine cones, seed heads, dried flowers, candles and all the little details that make autumn feel like autumn.

Whether you prefer watercolours, acrylics, coloured pencils or simply enjoy sketching, you’re welcome to work in whichever medium you feel most comfortable using. Wander between the displays, find inspiration, and spend a peaceful evening creating at your own pace.

This is a relaxed, mindful evening for anyone who enjoys making art, regardless of experience. Come on your own or with a friend, pour yourself a warm drink, settle into the glow of the candles and embrace the slower rhythm of the season.
