Intuitive Red Light Painting

Step into a calm, cosy space where you can switch off from the outside world and let your intuition take the lead.

In this gentle, reflective workshop, we’ll begin with a relaxing guided meditation, taking you on a visual journey designed to quieten the mind and help you connect with your inner thoughts, feelings and instincts.

After the meditation, we’ll paint under red light, meaning the colours in front of us will be softened, hidden and distorted. You won’t be able to clearly see what colours you’re choosing, so instead of overthinking, planning or trying to make something ‘perfect’, you’ll be invited to simply trust your hand, your instincts and the moment.

Once the lights come back on, we’ll take time to look at our finished pieces together. We’ll gently explore the colours, shapes, marks and patterns that have appeared, and what they might represent for each person. This isn’t about being ‘good’ at art, and there are no right or wrong answers. It’s about curiosity, self expression and seeing what comes through when we stop trying to control the outcome.

This workshop is ideal if you’re craving a bit of calm, creative reflection, or simply want to try something a little different.

All materials are provided. No art experience needed, just an open mind and a willingness to let the process unfold.
