Crochet for Absolute Beginners – Part 2

Ready to build on the skills you learned in Part 1? In this follow-up workshop we will continue developing your confidence with crochet while introducing a few more essential techniques.

Led by our guest crochet host, this relaxed and supportive session is perfect for those who attended Part 1 or anyone who already knows the very basics such as creating a slip knot and foundation chain.

During the workshop you will practice the stitches learned previously while being introduced to additional beginner techniques. We will look at how to keep your tension consistent, how to turn your work, and how to build rows so your crochet begins to form a proper piece of fabric.

There will be plenty of time to practice, ask questions, and receive one-to-one guidance so you feel comfortable continuing your crochet journey at home.

By the end of the session you will have progressed your skills, gained more confidence with your hook and yarn, and be well on your way to creating simple crochet projects.

Please bring along the hook and yarn you received in Part 1, as we will continue working with these during the session. 🧶
