Brusho & Ink Milky Way

Create a dreamy night sky filled with colour, texture and stars in this relaxed Brusho and ink workshop.

In this session, you’ll learn how to use Brusho powder to create a vibrant Milky Way sky, building up deep blues, purples and soft glowing areas with water, pigment and a little bit of creative chaos. Brusho is wonderfully unpredictable, so this workshop is all about enjoying the process, letting the colours bloom, and embracing those beautiful accidental textures.

Once your sky has dried, we’ll add simple ink details to bring the scene together, including a distant horizon, soft landscape shapes and tiny stars. The foreground will be kept simple, so the focus stays on that dramatic, magical sky.

You’ll be guided step by step, with plenty of room to make your piece your own. This workshop is suitable for beginners, and you don’t need any previous painting experience.

You’ll learn how to:

• Activate Brusho powder with water
• Create soft blends and textured sky effects
• Build a glowing Milky Way shape
• Add stars, splatters and simple ink details
• Use contrast to make your night sky feel deep and atmospheric

All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own finished Milky Way artwork, full of colour, sparkle and cosmic drama.
